In the early morning hours of Friday, October 7th, a freight train carrying ethanol derailed and caught fire a mile east of the small Illinois town of Tiskilwa. The accident made national news.
We went up there yesterday and this is one of the photos that we took. As you can see, the wreck is still smoldering, mainly from all of the grain, that the hopper cars were carrying, that also caught fire. If you have ever smelled burnt corn you know that it's not a pleasant odor.
