Thanksgiving Secret Door

Date Thursday - November 26, 2015
Host George Noory
Guests Mitch HorowitzStan DeyoRosemary Ellen GuileyHoward Bloom

On a festive Thanksgiving evening, George Noory welcomed surprise guests coming in through the Secret Door. In separate one-hour segments, we heard from the well-known voice of esoteric ideas, Mitch Horowitz, research physicist and author Stan Deyo, paranormal researcher Rosemary Ellen Guiley, and multifaceted author Howard Bloom. Horowitz recounted some of America's occult history, such as how psychic Jeane Dixon had sessions with the Reagans, Senator Strom Thurmond, as well as a meeting at the White House with Richard Nixon. In discussing the Ouija board, Horowitz noted that entities that come through can initially seem helpful but over time may become more coarse and threatening.

Next through the Secret Door was Stan Deyo, who almost fooled George with his put-on Australian accent. Deyo shared updates on earth changes, particularly earthquakes. Oklahoma has been having a flurry of small earthquakes, and while there may be some connection to the fracking going on in the area, he believes the swarm is related to a fault line that connects to the New Madrid fault line in Arkansas. "I think the New Madrid will go in our lifetime-- there could be so many triggers for that-- the pressure is there," and pole shifting could act as a trigger, he said. Deyo and his wife Holly are giving away a set of books and videos as part of a '12 Days of Christmas.' Enter here.

The third guest, Rosemary Ellen Guiley, talked about the use of black mirror scrying as a method to make contact with the spirit world. By gazing into it in a kind of steady, unfocused way, the physical senses become fatigued and the psychic senses start to take over, she explained. George revealed ghostly sightings of a bald older male figure that several people had seen in his St. Louis house, which was built in the 1920s, and Rosemary suggested it may be a type of residual haunting.

The final Secret Door guest was Howard Bloom, who reacted to current events such as the ISIS attacks, and highlighted historical changes in the human experience. He expressed concerns over Turkey's President Erdogan, as relating to his actions toward Russia, and how the NATO alliance countries could be dragged into the conflict. There have been remarkable advances in Western civilization in the last 150 years, with the raising of IQs, lifespans, and income, he said, and in the next 10 years we'll see astounding technological developments.
