In the first half, Dr. Joel Wallach discussed the human body and its ability to use natural healing without the risky drugs prescribed by modern medicine. He shared the benefits of natural remedies that aid in the body’s recovery from many diseases and ailments, which he believes are due in large part to mineral deficiencies. Regarding lower back problems, they could be related to degeneration of the lumbar vertebrae or bone spurs, and he recommended his formulation the Healthy Body Bone and Joint Pak. As to concerns people have about needing to swallow many supplement pills per day, he noted that a lot of the Critical Health News products are available in a powdered drink format.
For treating toenail fungus, he suggested applying colloidal silver directly on an affected toenail. In the case of someone who is having hearing or ear problems, it could be caused by osteoporosis in the skull, which makes the ear canals smaller, he said. The cause of asthma is due a deficiency of a nutrient brought on by gluten intolerance, Doc Wallach maintained. Arthritis, he added, is almost always related to a mineral deficiency, and a secondary mycoplasma infection in the joints.
In the latter half, former futurist for a Pentagon-consulted think tank, where he developed scenarios for exotic kinds of warfare and high-tech terrorism, Lowell Ponte, shared his analysis of current events, and his interpretations of Chinese astrology as it relates to the economy and politics. It's the new Chinese year-- the Year of the Monkey, which people in China see as a good year for entrepreneurship and business success. Chinese astrology is based on a 12-year cycle using different animals, and though it mirrors the length of the sunspot cycle, it's not based on the planets and constellations like western astrology, he noted.
Ponte revealed what Chinese signs the various presidential candidates were born under. Hillary Clinton and Marco Rubio were born in years of the Pig, which could portend well for them this year, as the Pig and Monkey are said to be compatible signs. Both Bernie Sanders and Jeb Bush were born in years of the Snake-- this sign is considered negative in Chinese culture, and parents actually try to avoid having children in these years, he cited. Another Chinese cycle of five fundamental elements is overlaid with the animal years. "This is the year of the Red Fire Monkey," and that means it's an especially good time for gold, metals, and making high risk investments, he commented. Ponte also spoke about his latest book co-authored with Craig Smith, which compares the traditional American dream against the progressive dream of collectivism and big government.
