Rosemary Altea

Biography:

Rosemary Altea began hearing voices as a small child and having visions of people who had died. Threatened by her mother, the young Rosemary kept silent about the strange, menacing faces she saw in the dark. In the 1970's, while in her mid-thirties, she began to nurture her spiritual gifts.

Rosemary Altea has worked professionally as a spiritual medium and healer for over twenty years. She is founder of the RAAH (the Rosemary Altea Healing and Educational Foundation), based in England, and the RAHEF, based in Vermont, USA. Both are registered charities. She is also the author of several books.

She suggested an exercise for those who have lost a loved one: Sit in a quiet room for 10 minutes a day and calmly declare— 'this is my time to be with you,' and then pay careful attention to what you hear. Altea recounted a vivid case in Florida where she communicated with the spirit of a deceased serial killer who was haunting the home of a woman he'd earlier planned to kill. As she moved about in the home, she felt a sensation akin to being punched in the stomach. ... More »
