Anthony Carr

Biography:

Canadian based psychic Anthony Carr is a modern day Nostradamus. He predicted 9/11, Operation Desert Storm, the murder of Pope John Paul I, the killer tsunami, the discovery of the Titanic and the election of a German pope. Carr is an expert on the legendary escape artist Harry Houdini. Carr's father taught Houdini how to dive in deep water, a skill that the master magician would use over and over again for his underwater escapes. Besides being a psychic, Carr is a world class saxophonist and has performed with such leading musicians as Ben E. King of "Stand By Me" fame and Ronnie Hawkins.

During Open Lines, George offered a different special topic line each hour. A former Hospital Corpsman in the U.S. Navy phoned into the 'Bug Stories' line to share a story about his encounter with an alien that looked like a giant praying mantis. According to the caller, the creature was egg shell white with black eyes and stood 12 to 15 feet tall.Ray from Yucca Valley, California recounted his 'Scariest Moment.' While hiking in Alancha canyon, Ray claims to have stumbled upon a scorpion the size of a small lobster -- more than 8 inches wide and longer than 11 inches with the tail curled over. The scorpion's body was a translucent milky white color with fluorescent green insides, he said.
