In a special Christmas Eve edition of Coast to Coast AM, George Noory spoke with four different guests for one hour each. First up was author and NDE expert Dannion Brinkley, whose new book Secrets of the Light is just out. He offered some of his predictions, stemming from visions he had in 1976: In the next year and a half, beings from another dimension will communicate via electronic sources such as digital TV about the world we think of as heaven. Solar flares in 2010 will enhance this effect. We'll also see some amazing advances in medicine. Astronomer Hugh Ross talked about his new book Why the Universe Is the Way It Is, which integrates observations about the cosmos with biblical theology. The idea of a multiverse is not anti-Christian in principle, as God has created a different realm for the angels that is independent of this universe, he said. Ross noted that all the planets in our solar system play a role in life on Earth. For instance, Jupiter acts as a gravitational s

Hauntings, Shadow People & Dreams |
|
| Tuesday June 13, 2006 |
Paranormal investigator and author Rosemary Ellen Guiley discussed her work with ghosts, demonic hauntings, and Shadow People, and also highlighted her dreaming research. There appears to be a rise in negative hauntings and "nasty portals" being ripped open which allow dark energy to come through may account for this increase (9-11 in particular created a "massive rip"), she said. Such negative hauntings may be instigated by thought forms, low level demonic entities or opportunistic spirits, detailed Guiley, who spoke about the "soul eater" home in New Jersey, that appeared to harbor many spirits of deceased people who had once lived in the house. One unhappy ghost is believed to be the source of violent poltergeist activity there. Guiley is currently engaged in data collecting on the Shadow People phenomenon and has divided incidents into two categories. The first is a bedtime/nighttime visitor, usually not harmful, that appears to enter through the sleeping state of consciousness

Anger, Broken Electronics & More |
|
| Friday May 6, 2005 |
Disturbed by conversation he overheard in a restaurant, George offered an "Anger" hotline for people who have been mad enough to kill. Tony from Sacramento, California described a mission he took part in during his Iraq deployment to find the person responsible for killing a member of his platoon. After tracking down the perpetrator, he said he wanted to kill him, but something prevented him from doing it. His men were later disarmed, he explained, to avoid the temptation of taking justice into their own hands. A 19-year-old girl also called in to inform George that she has often thought about killing people, and believes she would be quite good at it. After listening, George suggested she talk to a counselor about her unhealthy compulsion.Friday night's Open Lines also featured many other interesting calls. A caller from Daytona Beach, Florida recounted the time he saw a lake monster called "Champ" in Vermont. He said it had four or five humps and moved in the water at 15 mile

Magic, Dreams & UFOs |
|
| Thursday March 31, 2005 |
The last half of the show featured author Rosemary Ellen Guiley, who discussed her forthcoming book, The Encyclopedia of Magic and Alchemy (due out Spring 2006), as well as dreams and UFOs.Guiley said magic involves "petitioning higher powers to bring change into the world." She talked about several types of magic, including ceremonial, folk, bizarre, and black magic. According to Guiley, black magic is the use of the "infernal powers" for base material gain or to harm others. She said wishing someone ill, calling on demons, and using powers to find treasure are forms of black magic.Guiley also addressed the topic of dreams, which she said free the mind from the constraints of waking consciousness. Through dreams we can learn about the situations we're in, see into the future, and view other-worldly beings. Whenever she is seeking guidance or vision, Guiley asks for a dream. Regarding UFOs, Guiley believes that our planet has been visited, extraterrestrials currently li

Christmas Eve Show 2004 |
|
| Friday December 24, 2004 |
In his live Christmas Eve broadcast, George hosted a night of Open Lines, with a special topic line devoted to miracle stories, as well as discussed angels with author Rosemary Ellen Guiley during the first two hours of the show.Guiley described two angelic falls recorded in the Scriptures: one attributed to Lucifer, another when the "sons of God" (mentioned in Genesis 6:4) married human women and had children, producing giant hybrid offspring called nephilim. She said God charged the archangels with punishing the "sons of God," and ultimately sent a great flood to destroy the nephilim. Noah, who was spared during the flood, may have been of angelic or extra-terrestrial origin, Guiley suggested.Guiley believes everyone has a guardian angel, and said there could be a "host of angels around us" in human form. As evidence she pointed to the biblical story of Abraham, who was visited by three heavenly messengers but did not recognize them as angels. Guiley claims people can

Vampires and Werewolves |
|
| Tuesday October 26, 2004 |
Paranormal expert and author Rosemary Ellen Guiley, Ph.D. shared an in-depth look at vampires, werewolves and other things that go bump in the night. She said vampires and werewolves belonged to a class of creatures called shapeshifters -- humans who can change into other forms. She said folklore vampires rarely shapeshifted into bats (like in the movies), but instead changed into dogs, wolves and various farm animals. She noted that Hollywood has romanticized the vampire, replacing the ugly, demonic monster of folklore with the charismatic, tragic hero of movie screens. According to Guiley, a vampire is "any entity that wastes away life force." The nature of a vampire is to be destructive and to cause people harm, she explained. As an example, Guiley cited the "restless dead," a folklore vampire whose corpse remained in the grave while its spirit wandered the night, plaguing the living. Guiley thinks many folklore beliefs have a basis in reality. She pointed out that "

Deciphering Dreams |
|
| Tuesday September 23, 2003 |
Author Rosemary Guiley (visionaryliving) shared her expertise on dreams and their interpretations as the guest on Tuesday night. Dreams arise from the oldest part of the brain and take place in their own kind of dimension or "dreamscape," she said. "On a mass scale we are all connected through consciousness," said Guiley, who believes that dreams can affect the path of the future. Towards that end, she has become involved in a Dream Activism Group, formed after 9-11 as a side project at the Association for the Study of Dreams. The goal of the activism group is "to get people to dream together in a positive way at the same time," and two dates are set aside each month, she explained. Guiley said people can use "incubation" techniques to induce certain types of dreams, or dream experiences. For example, "tonight I dream the awakened heart," is one affirmation she suggested saying to oneself before going to sleep. Interestingly she noted that mugwort "the dreaming herb" can
