For thirteen months from November 15, 1966 to December 15, 1967, the town ofPoint Pleasant, West Virginia was gripped by a real-life nightmare thatculminated in a tragedy that made headlines around the world. Strangeoccurrences and sightings, including a bizarre winged apparition that becameknown as the Mothman, trouble this ordinary American community. Mysteriouslights were seen moving across the sky. Domestic animals were foundslaughtered and mutilated. Journalist John A. Keel arrived on the scene toinvestigate the freakish events and soon found himself to be an integralpart of an eerie and unfathomable mystery.
