Host: George NooryFatima Secrets
Catholic priest, Fr. Nicholas Gruner of the Fatima Center discussed his research into the Third Secret of Fatima. He declared the alleged visitation by the Virgin Mary in 1917, and her message imparted to three young children, to be "the definitive revelation of our time." Based on his research, he said that it is a misperception that the Virgin Mary bestowed three separate secrets. Instead, he claimed that the message is a sequential series of events with the infamous "third secret" being the conclusion. Detailing new information which suggests that the "official release" of the third secret by the Vatican in 2000 was actually incomplete, Gruner revealed that when Sister Lucia wrote down that portion of the prophecy, she divided it into two parts. "One is the words of 'Our Lady' and one is the vision," he said. According to him, the Catholic Church only released the description of the vision and not the words spoken by Mary. The Dakota apartment building has had a series of ghost sightings and strange happenings. A little girl, appearing in 19th century clothes, said "today is my birthday," to a workman and the next day a co-worker was killed, Patterson recounted. Host: George NooryUFOs in the 50s
Author Colin Bennett appeared during the middle two hours, talking about intrigue and disinformation surrounding UFO sightings from the 1950s. Ufology especially interests him because it incorporates a wide range of topics-- science, metaphysics, the military-industrial complex, technology and culture. He has written about George Adamski, the 1950s alien contactee, who achieved worldwide notoriety for his alleged telepathic communications with a Venusian called Orthon. Bennett said he thinks Adamski's original encounters and photos had validity, but in later years he started to create false episodes in order to expand on the tale. He also discussed the work ofCaptain Edward Ruppelt, who was assigned to run the Air Force's Project Blue Book-- an investigation into UFO sightings. Ruppelt was "hobbled" in his efforts to present an accurate picture of what was really going on in the 1950s, said Bennett, who also shared his own bizarre UFO encounter he had 25 years ago. Host: George NooryThe Travis Walton Case
Travis Walton recounted his experiences that took place in 1975, which became one of the best documented cases of a UFO sighting and alien abduction. With a group of loggers in the mountains of northeastern Arizona, they happened upon a glowing disc-shaped object. The craft emitted a mechanical cyclic sound, a high pitched noise and a low rumble you could feel, he detailed. By himself, Walton approached the disc but was soon hit by a beam of energy, at which point his co-workers fled. His memories of being aboard the craft are fragmentary, but he described being in the presence of three "chalky white" aliens, who were under 5 ft. tall. They had large bald heads and eyes that stared right through him, "as if they knew everything I was thinking and feeling." He saw unrecognizable tools that "gave me the creeps," and were reminiscent of surgical instruments. He said he recalled being taken away from the aliens by four human-like beings who were fair-haired and wore tight blue unifor ... More »
Host: George NooryNumbers & You
Welcoming in 2005, the 'Numbers Lady,' Glynis McCants, returned to the show. A professional numerologist, she uses a system based on the "vibrations" or energy associated with the numbers 1-9, to analyze people, places and events. 2005 is a "7" (2+0+0+5 = 7) and this number is related to water which correlates with all the storms that we've been having, she said. The new year will also be about "spiritual warfare," she continued, with people asking 'what kind of difference can I make?' Certain number combinations follow people around and could be sending a message, she noted. For instance, if you are often seeing 333 (a 9) this might be telling you it's time to get in touch with your family. She revealed that people who have a Lifepath number of "5" tend to be luckier than others, and are more likely to have gambling wins. It's possible to alter the energy around your home and life by using numbers, McCants said. Here are some examples she gave:To bring a new lov ... More »

Host: George NooryRock 'n' Roll Curses & Legends
Author R. Gary Patterson shared coincidences, curses and urban legends surrounding the deaths or ill fates of various rock musicians. He listed a number of deaths that were connected to what he called the "Buddy Holly Curse." For instance, Eddie Cochran had a premonition of his death and died shortly after recording a Holly song and Bobby Fuller was mysteriously murdered after getting a hit song from the Crickets (Holly's band). The Allman Brothers (and other artists associated with Macon, Georgia) have had more than their share of bad luck, Patterson commented, citing how Duane Allman and Barry Oakley, both original members of the group, perished in motorcycleaccidents, within a year of each other, with the accidents in close proximity. Jim Morrison and a number of other noteworthy rock stars all died at the age of 27. Morrison's death was shrouded in mystery, Patterson noted, possibly due to an attempt to cover-up drug usage. His body was kept in his Paris hotel room for two da ... More »
