Nick Redfern
Biography:
Nick Redfern has been interested in UFOs since 1978. His main area of research centers around determining what has been learned about the UFO subject at an official level in Britain. He has spent hundreds of hours at the Public Record Office in London, and has uncovered thousands of pages of previously-classified Royal Air Force, Air Ministry and Ministry of Defense files on UFOs dating from the Second World War. Nick is the author of several best-selling books on UFOs including: The FBI Files: The FBI's UFO Top Secrets Exposed; and Cosmic Crashes: The Incredible Story Of The UFOs That Fell To Earth. Nick also lectures on the UFO subject both in the U.K. and abroad.

Investigative reporter Linda Moulton Howe shared cases of high strangeness. In her first report, she detailed the Oct. 4, 2008 encounter of two hunters in Elk County, Pennsylvania who saw mysterious lights and a lime green, glowing humanoid floating across a field behind one of the odd lights. Researcher Nick Redfern discussed his 2-year transatlantic hunt, investigating Bigfoot, werewolves, lake monsters, Mothman-type creatures, UFOs and crop circles.Bigfoot or 'wildman of the woods' reports date as far back as 1100 AD in Britain. In recent times, a number of Bigfoot cases in the U.K. took place near ancient stone circles or prehistoric burial mounds and sometimes peoples' car engines/lights would fail around the time of a sighting. UFO researcher and author Nick Redfern talked about his work uncovering how the entire UFO research community has been monitored by U.S. Intelligence Agencies dating back to the 1940's. In the era before UFO investigators, the media covering flying saucers were watched by agencies such as the FBI, he noted. The Men in Black phenomenon, in which UFO witnesses were questioned by mysterious agents, were actually military and CIA personnel in many cases, added Redfern, who said that 'MIB' activity occurred in the U.K. as well as the U.S.Surveillance of well-known figures of the 1950s contactee movement, such as George Adamski, George Van Tassel and George Hunt Williamson also took place. Roswell Secrets |

Author Nick Redfern presented a new theory about what was really behind the 1947 Roswell incident based on testimony he gathered from military whistleblowers and others. Rather than a UFO crash, he suggested a scenario in which the US government was secretly conducting aerial tests with balloon/glider vehicles, which may have been hit by lightning or had other mishaps. Surprisingly, he said these vehicles were piloted by Japanese POWs, who were possibly the victims of diabolical human experimentation, not unlike what Mengele did in Germany.Because these Asian pilots (who were around 5 ft. tall) may have been altered through experimentation and damage from the crash, their strange appearance could have fueled alien rumors, Redfern surmised. Mysterious Creatures |

Researcher Nick Redfern shared accounts he uncovered while searching for cryptozoological creatures in the U.K. There are three types of unusual bipedal beings that have been reported in Britain, he said, which include werewolves, Bigfoot, and feral wild men. Sightings of werewolves, which typically have a wolf-like head but can stand on two feet, were often accompanied by a feeling of horror or evil, Redfern noted. He speculated that they could be interdimensional in nature, and because they are often spotted in the vicinity of ancient stone circles, they may serve as "guardians" of "windows" into these other dimensions. He also discussed the "Black Dog" legend and described witness testimonies that date back hundreds of years of huge animals with glowing red eyes. George Noory and Linda Moulton Howe (earthfiles.com) hosted a special broadcast live from a glass enclosed studio at the Sunset Station Hotel in Las Vegas, interviewing presenters at the UFO Crash Retrieval Conference. Stan Gordon, the primary investigator of the 1965 Kecksburg UFO crash retrieval case, kicked off the evening with details from witnesses. One person told him, they had been at Wright Patterson where the acorn-shaped craft was taken, and saw next to it, a covered body on a workbench.
