The Nye Incidents |
|
| Thursday April 17, 2008 |
Authors Whitley Strieber and Craig Spector discussed their new graphic novel The Nye Incidents which concerns mysterious cases of human mutilation, which may be connected to alien abductions. The incidents in the book were inspired by a number of real life events. "Whitley had a story he was too scared to write," Spector said, explaining how he was brought in on the collaborative project. A 2002 case in Pennsylvania that Linda Moulton Howe investigated involved a man whose unusually decomposed body was found in a separate location from his abandoned car, and was associated with a witness seeing a body floated up in a beam of light (Streamlink members can listen to Linda's 2003 report labeled 'Strange Death in Penn' here).Other cases involved homeless men dropped on rooftops in Northern New Jersey, said Strieber. In their book, Spector said he focused on forensic aspects, setting up the question whether a serial killer was imitating aliens or vice versa. UFO researcher Dr.

Pre-Death Encounters |
|
| Sunday March 2, 2008 |
Known for his compassionate care of hundreds of terminally-ill patients, Dr. John Lerma presented his research into hospice patients' pre-death experiences. Such patients shared similarities in their experiences, typically seeing a "light entity" or human-appearing spirit being about four weeks before their passing. Subsequently, the being appears to them with increasing frequency, preparing them for their death, and reviewing life lessons, he recounted. A PET scan of a patient undergoing a brief "hallucinatory" episode showed that many different areas of their brain were lit up, Lerma reported. He told of working with Matthew, a blind nine-year-old with a terminal illness. Matthew described communing with three different angels who were so tall, it was as though they were from another dimension. One of Dr. Lerma's patients was a man who was a friend of rancher Mac Brazel of Roswell fame. In a sort of deathbed confession to Lerma, he said Brazel showed him the crash debris in

UFOs & Parallel Realities |
|
| Thursday January 3, 2008 |
Author and expert on alien abduction, Whitley Strieber joined Art Bell for a discussion on close encounters, drones, and parallel dimensions. Strieber's latest encounter took place last month in Santa Monica where he witnessed a large object in the skies from outside his window. The gliding object was enormous, and looked similar to the drone in the unexplained photos taken in California, he said. For more on this incident, see Whitley's Journal entry. A recent video posted on YouTube shows a possible drone over the city of Sao Paolo. The drones may represent something penetrating our realm from a parallel human Earth, Strieber suggested. He also discussed experiences traveling in parallel realities such as the time he turned off Route 17 in New Jersey and found himself driving in an other-worldly neighborhood. Strieber noted that we are the midst of another UFO flap with sightings in such places as Jakarta, Oklahoma City and England. A plan to release classified UF

Encounters with Grays |
|
| Sunday August 27, 2006 |
Whitley Strieber discussed his encounters with the 'Visitors' which he mined for his new book The Grays. His experiences strongly suggest to him that the visitors are coming to us from another dimension rather than somewhere out in the stars, or if they are from another planet they may use methods of dimensional travel. Touching the skin of these beings can sometimes lead to an allergic reaction, he noted, and though they have spindly frames they can be incredibly strong. He described one instance where one of the creatures jumped on his back and was able to hold him down with an iron grip. While the Grays may not be that far ahead of us technologically, they do exhibit abilities in using invisibility and manipulating gravity, he reported. Strieber said he is interesting in seeing human beings become an active partner in their relationship with the visitors-- to be empowered, so that we can glean something from our interactions with them. He does not believe abductees are chosen

Alien Experiences |
|
| Thursday August 24, 2006 |
Author Whitley Strieber discussed his experiences with alien entities, some of which were incorporated into his new novel The Grays. By making the book fiction he was able to present material he believes to be true, yet did not have the documentation to present as non-fiction, such as secret U.S. technology advances. For instance, he suggested that the military has developed large triangular shaped craft modeled after the aliens'. Featured in the book are different types of aliens, all of which Strieber said he has had personal encounters with. Among them were two types of Grays-- 4 ft. tall creatures, with long thin arms and hands, with big black eyes wrapped around the side of the head (which he suspects may be a type of covering like dark glasses), and a smaller version of this type, which operates in groups of three. There were also the Blonde/Nordics, one of whom revealed to him that his race had been at war with the Grays for millennia. A third category was composed of blue

Hurricane Katrina |
|
| Sunday August 28, 2005 |
Art Bell presented live coverage of Hurricane Katrina, in a special 5-hour program. In the first hour, Mark Sudduth of HurricaneTrack.com offered updates and analysis from his monitoring station in Gulfport, MS. If the hurricane continues on its path into New Orleans, there'll be several hours of 100mph winds in the city, and with the power going out, people will experience "power flashes" which will look like the deadly lasers from War of the Worlds, he envisioned. In Hour 2, meteorologist Lyn Whitlake aka "Rob Robin" of KAOK in Lake Charles, LA joined the program. He and Art were old Air Force buddies, who chased storms together in the 1960's.Whitlake explained that hurricanes run on water vapor, allowing heat from lower levels to escape to higher levels. The water temperature in the Gulf was 90-91 degrees, which is higher than he can recall it ever being, and this may be contributing to the severity of the situation, he commented.Author Whitley Strieber offere

Biology, Belief & Consciousness |
|
| Saturday May 14, 2005 |
Scientist and lecturer, Dr. Bruce Lipton shared his groundbreaking research in cellular biology and the mechanisms that control life. "We've given genes intelligence," Lipton explained, but genes are merely blueprints and do not determine the fate of an organism. Instead, he suggested genes are potentials that are "continuously reading the environment and adjusting the biology to conform to the perception of that environment."As proof Lipton cited his own research, which showed a strong link between environment and the development of stem cells. Further, Lipton theorizes that skin cells act as an interface between the organism and its environment. By reading both the outside and inside worlds of an organism, the skin is able to adjust the biology to meet the needs of the environment, he said.Lipton also discussed cellular consciousness, identity, and how perceptions control our biology -- something called epigenetic control. Lipton believes every cell is a "programmable

Gnostics & Archons |
|
| Saturday March 19, 2005 |
John Lash, an author, teacher, and lifelong student of world mythology, discussed what the Gnostics, a group of ancient pagan initiates, knew about aliens. According to Lash, the Gnostics had a sophisticated level of psychic awareness and practiced remote viewing of aliens. Unfortunately, much of their knowledge was lost because of a "massive and deliberate" destruction of their writings, he said.Among the surviving near-original pagan writings are the Nag Hammadi documents, which Lash claims refer explicitly to an alien species called the Archons. Lash described the Archons as "inorganic beings" that arose from a "plasmatic surge from the galactic core." The ancients believed the Archons were a predatory species that could "take away souls by theft," which Lash proposed was the equivalent to modern-day alien abduction.Lash said the Archons are still here today, but we need not fear them. As evidence, Lash quoted a passage from the Gnostic text, The Second Apocalypse of

Nuclear Reactors |
|
| Saturday December 18, 2004 |
Nuclear physicist Dr. Charles Till, who spent nearly 20 years at Argonne National Laboratory working on the Integral Fast Reactor (IFR), discussed the history and current state of nuclear reactors, as well as reasons for the cancellation of his IFR program.Till said most of the world's nuclear reactors are based on the American "light" water (ordinary water) reactor, though Canada has constructed "heavy" water reactors to generate electricity. A major difference between these two types of reactors, explains Till, is American reactors require enriched uranium (U-235) to run, while Canadian reactors are fueled by natural uranium only. Till also explained that nuclear reactors are not fuel efficient, using only a small fraction (less than 1%) of the mined uranium for fission and discarding the rest in spent fuel rods. He said the goal of his work on the IFR was, in part, to solve the enormous fuel inefficiency of nuclear reactors. According to Till, this new reactor used a

Comets & Electrical Energy |
|
| Sunday December 12, 2004 |
Physicist James McCanney discussed electrical energy in the solar system, comets, and a newly discovered Kuiper Belt object called Quaoar.McCanney said "the solar system, from about 1995, has been increasing in electrical energy," specifically noting that the sun puts out thousands of times more electrical energy than visible light. He believes comets are responsible for "pumping up the sun" -- the solar capacitor -- with energy. According to McCanney, electrical energy discharged from the solar capcitor is passed down to Earth, where it physically affects humans and the weather.McCanney also reported on a distant object dubbed "Quaoar" located on the outskirts of the solar system. He said there appears to be volcanism on Quaoar, which may imply that it's "new." McCanney thinks their could be many more of these objects out there.

Expanding Consciousness |
|
| Saturday October 23, 2004 |
Founder of the Academy for Future Science, Dr. J.J. Hurtak, and his wife Desiree, discussed his paraphysical text, The Book of Knowledge: The Keys of Enoch, the coming shift in human consciousness, and communication with other intelligences. Dr. Hurtak said the human body is a "cosmic antenna" capable of pulling energy from the surrounding universe. In the case of prayer, Hurtak believes this energy can be directed towards specific individuals, resulting in a "miracle." He also claims the mind can make contact with distant objects and cited his remote sensing of the Osiris Tomb in Egypt and the underwater civilization of Yonaguni near Taiwan as examples. Hurtak went on to explain that "we have a passport to the cosmos in the very essence of our inner nature," but we must liberate ourselves from the restrictions of rational, dualistic thought. According to Hurtak, one can step outside of space-time by creating the right harmonic and entering into higher vibratory states.

Chemtrails & Weather Modification |
|
| Saturday September 18, 2004 |
Researcher Will Thomas talked about chemtrails, weather modification and US Air Force planes spraying a moisture-absorbing gel to break up storms off the coast of Florida. He said there was "very strong evidence" that Hurricane Frances was seeded with an absorbent material, and claimed this has been corroborated by two news stations in South Florida. Thomas also pointed to an experiment in which the government purportedly placed Dyn-O-Gel into a thunderstorm causing it to lose moisture and dissipate. Thomas believes the US government has been purposely attempting to modify the climate using chemtrails. He said several air traffic controllers have reported seeing on radar (and with their own eyes) chemtrails being exhausted from large military aircraft. According to Thomas, after inquiring about them, the radar operators were told by their supervisors that it was part of a government climate modification experiment. Thomas said two independent laboratories have confirmed that c

Are We Alone? |
|
| Saturday May 8, 2004 |
Professor of astronomy and physics, Guillermo Gonzales (privilegedplanet.com), discussed the odds of life in the universe and explained his Privileged Planet hypothesis. According to Gonzales, the places in the universe that can host intelligent life (like Earth) are also the best places for viewing and analyzing the universe. He believes such "privileged" places are extremely rare in the universe. To prove his point, Gonzales refactored the Drake Equation -- a mathematical method to determine how many intelligent civilizations are in our own Milky Way galaxy. After citing a less than 1% chance of intelligent life Gonzales concluded, "In my opinion, we're alone in the galaxy." He went on to say that while there could be as many as one billion civilizations in the rest of the universe, "we're probably alone."Gonzales asserts that the chances for intelligent life increase greatly if the universe was designed. This is because "the Designer would have created the conditions

Black Triangle Phenomenon |
|
| Saturday April 24, 2004 |
Research scientist Dr. Colm Kelleher, from the National Institute of Discovery Science (NIDS), discussed the enigmatic Black Triangle phenomenon. Sightings of Black Triangles go back to the 1980s, though a dramatic increase began in 1998. NIDS has recorded as many as 500 encounters. Art related his own encounter with a Black Triangle object (see artist rendition below). Some people think Black Triangles, also known as Big Black Deltas or BBDs, are part of a secret military project. An earlier study by NIDS indicated a high correlation between U.S. military facilities and BBD sighting locations. In the face of newer evidence, however, NIDS is revising its hypothesis. Researchers have since discovered that a vast majority of BBD sightings follow U.S. interstate highway systems. According to Kelleher, this seems inconsistent with earlier conclusions about the military nature of these objects.Kelleher also spoke about other UFO cases, cattle mutilation research, and abduction exper
