Mike Heiser

Bio

Mike Heiser received his Ph.D. in Hebrew Bible and ancient Semitic Languages from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He has earned two M.A. degrees in the fields of ancient history from the University of Pennsylvania and biblical Hebrew and Semitic Languages from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Mike’s graduate work has resulted in his ability to do translation work in over a dozen ancient languages and dialects, including biblical Hebrew and Greek, Aramaic, Ugaritic, Akkadian, Egyptian, and Syriac.

For the last 12 years he has taught theology, biblical studies, biblical languages, and world civilizations. Mike was invited by Stephen Bassett to appear as a speaker at next April’s X-Conference in Washington, D.C., he will also be the featured speaker at the June 2005 Orange County MUFON meeting in California, and the July 2005 Ancient of Days Conference in Roswell, NM.
