George Noory

Guests:

Michael Mannion, Gerald Celente, Charles Ulrich

Co-Founder of the Mindshift Institute, Michael Mannion discussed patterns, perceptions and influences of the UFO/ET phenomenon, which have evolved over time. The "seeding of information" from movies and television has been going on for decades, he said, citing such films as The Day the Earth Stood Still, which depicted the use of energy beams.

The CIA considered ways to "reeducate" the American public on their views of UFOs, and one of their reports found that scientists' world views would be the most disturbed by the admission of an ET presence, said Mannion. According to the late Col. Philip Corso, Gen. Nathan Twining was involved in the secretive MJ-12 group. Twining decreed that "disclosure will be the cover-up, and the cover-up will be the disclosure," Mannion recounted.

Contact with humanity has increased in UFO cases, and sightings have consistently come in waves (certain time periods) and flaps (certain locations). UFOs are considered by Mannion to be a cosmic energy phenomenon-- i.e. the craft use the "energy of space" to travel through the cosmos. He also discussed Wilhelm Reich, and how the Mindshift Institute seeks to reconnect past works, such as Reich's energy discoveries to today's science.

IRS Case

Appearing briefly at the start of the show, accountant Charles Ulrich talked about his dispute with the IRS. He challenged the method the IRS uses to tax shares and cash distributed by mutual life insurance firms and won in federal court. More here.

Trends Update

First hour guest, trends analyst Gerald Celente discussed the latest bank failures, and suggested the commercial real estate market will be the "next shoe to drop," leading into the "Crash of '09." A new Cold War with Russia could heat up to a World War by 2012, he added.
