Sea Monsters/ Crop Circles

About the show

In the first half, Steve Alten, the author of fifteen novels, including the MEG series and the DOMAIN series about the Mayan 2012 doomsday calendar, discussed the Carcharodon Megalodon - the most fearsome creature to ever live, as well as other awe-inspiring creatures such as Nessie. The megalodon was "the apex predator of all time...a sixty to seventy foot prehistoric great white shark that probably weighed close 150,000 to 200,000 pounds," he detailed. We have fossilized megalodon teeth that are six to seven inches long, so we can extrapolate from those how big these things were, he continued.

As a testament to the megalodon's size, one of the main items in their diet was whales, and a reconstructed fossilized jaw was more than 10 feet across, he reported. His first MEG book, concerning a deep sea submersible that becomes trapped in the Mariana Trench and attacked by the giant creature, is finally being made into a movie to debut in 2018 staring Jason Statham. Alten also talked about his theory behind the Loch Ness Monster (it's a giant eel), and his new book in the MEG series, Nightstalkers, which adds other prehistoric sea creatures into the mix.

Researcher Patty Greer has visited more than 100 crop circles. In the latter half, she shared her conclusions about what causes the curious formations, as well as her recent investigation into the connection between telepathic communication and the circles. "Crop circles are coming out of the earth in counter-rotating vortices," like pairs of spinning tornadoes, she said, citing the work of researchers Penny Kelly and (the late) WC Levengood. The vortices have different frequencies such as "ion electron avalanche energies" and "electromagnetic fields" (which can make the hair stand up on your arm), she outlined. Greer characterized the Earth as a living being, and said that over 96% of crop circles are situated over ley lines (ancient alignments) and aquifers of water.

While at a crop formation in Dorset, England in 2014, Greer met up with the Quantum Energy Generator (QEG) Team who explained that they had meditated the previous day for confirmation that their QEG device would work. The next day they discovered the crop formation in Dorset which mimics the schematic for their device, indicating that some form of human consciousness influenced the formation's design, Greer suggested. She also talked about plasma as being the basis for a new energy system, which will lead to an evolution in society.
