Astrology and the Eclipse / Eclipse and Prophecy

About the show

Former Silicon Valley computer scientist William Stickevers is now a full-time international astrologer specializing in archetypal, financial, and geopolitical astrology. He discussed the astrological impact of the eclipse on the United States and how it will set the narrative for the remainder of the year leading into the Trump-Biden 2024 election. Stickevers’ phone call was dropped early in the show, and it took some time to get him back. He said these types of communication issues can occur during astrological events like the eclipse – which was set to begin around twelve hours from that point, depending on your location. He also predicted the possibility of technology problems and electrical disruptions or brownouts during the eclipse, naming Texas in particular as a likely problem area. He explained that the impact wasn’t just being felt on the day of the eclipse, but the days leading up to and following it. “We’re seeing an escalation with the war, and with Israel,” Stickevers said. “We’re seeing escalation with terrorist attacks. Even the Francis Scott Key Bridge is believed to be some type of gray swan, a possible terrorist attack.” A gray swan refers to an event that is considered possible, but unlikely.

He also noted that the last eclipse, in 2017, coincided with Trump’s coming into power. “That’s when everything began to unravel, not particularly because of him,” Stickevers said. “But all the things that were happening in America, and in the world at that time, that are still major developments that are unfolding today.” A caller later in the program challenged Stickevers on a previous prediction, when he said President Trump would win re-election. Stickevers responded that he stood by that prediction, because he didn’t believe Joe Biden’s win was legitimate. He told another caller that there would be a lot of volatility in the market, predicting “heightened activity, particularly with AI-related stock like Nvidia,” as well as in cryptocurrency and gold. Responding to another caller, he explained that the eclipse isn’t specifically causing these things, but rather that the various astrological alignments associated with the eclipse “is only triggering things that are already in progress.”

In the second half, pastor Paul Begley, host of the weekly telecast of the ‘’Coming Apocalypse’’ on World Harvest Television, discussed how the solar eclipse and current events relate to biblical prophecy. Responding to a question from George about biblical plagues of locusts, Begley noted that the paths of totality for the last American eclipse, in 2017, and Monday’s eclipse cross in Carbondale, Illinois – in an area called Little Egypt because of the preponderance of Egyptian place names, beginning with Goshen (now Edwardsville) in 1799 as well as its fertile soils. Begley pointed out that this is also the area where two different broods of cicadas – one on a 17-year cycle and the other on a 13-year cycle – will emerge together for the first time in more than 200 years. “This will create trillions and trillions of cicada locust-type insects that will be covering Illinois, Indiana, Missouri, and that whole New Madrid area there."

Begley was joined by his “Revelation 911” co-author Troy Anderson. Their book is based around verse 11 of chapter 9 in the book of Revelation, literally Revelation 9:11 – “And they had a king over them, which is the angle of the bottomless pit, whose name in the Hebrew tongue is Abaddon, but in the Greek tongue hath his name Apollyon.” They discussed how this related to the fulfillment of prophecy today, beginning with strife between nations and moving on to the sacrifice of the red heifer, whose ashes are used to purify the temple, and the breeding program to produce such an animal. Anderson related the biblical Mark of the Beast to changes in technology that make cash-free purchasing easier and more ubiquitous. Anderson also said many biblical scholars believe the Antichrist could already be alive today.
