Jurors in Sacramento County can ignore that jury summons for the rest of the month. All jury trials and jury service is suspended until January 4th as the Sacramento region is now under California's new stay-at-home order.
Officials say trials that are in progress will remain in session. All other court operations will remain open to the public as an essential service.
Anyone who has a pending jury summons or receives a new one by the end of the month can ignore it, and wait for a new one next year.
