Loren Coleman, director of the International Cryptozoology Museum, has compiled his annual list of the top stories for the past year in the monstrous field.
Among the news of note for 2015 were an abundance of bad Bigfoot videos, a rise in lake monster sightings, and a wealth of new animal species discovered all over the world.
Also worth checking out is Coleman's compendium of cryptozoology deaths from 2015 as well as his picks for top books from the cryptozoology field for the past year.
The prestigious Golden Yeti award for top cryptozoologist of the year will be announced at the International Cryptozoology Conference in early January.
