Following the publication of the piece, Los Angeles resident Satoshi Nakamoto saw his home swarmed by reporters seeking to interview him.
After choosing one journalist to share his story with, Nakamoto and the reporter attempted to flee the scene, but were chased into downtown Los Angeles by the envious horde of newshounds. The day culminated with Nakamoto denying any involvement in the creation of Bitcoin. It remains to be seen whether his refutation of the story is true or merely an attempt to deflect the massive attention that has become focused on the 'Father of Bitcoin.'
