A crematorium in India has adopted an elaborate airport theme to help ease mourners through the process of saying goodbye to their loved ones.
The rather bizarre enterprise, which has literally been renamed the 'Antim Udan Moksha Airport,' is in the Indian city of Bardoli.
At the center of the facility are two huge airplane replicas that contain the furnaces for cremations to take place inside of them.
Incredibly, when a funeral is ready to proceed with the cremation process, a voice comes over a loudspeaker akin to what one would hear at the airport and instructs mourners as to which 'gate' they should use.
From there, their departed friend or family member is loaded into their prescribed 'jet' for one final journey, of sorts, complete with artificial sounds of a plane taking off, believe it or not.
While the themed crematorium may serve to help grieving families with saying goodbye, we're guessing that the site would be particularly nightmarish for someone who is afraid to fly.
