Art Bell Vault: Crop Circles

Our newest feature for Coast Insiders, The Art Bell Vault, features an expanding curated collection with two vintage shows added to the mix each Wednesday. This week's new programs examine the mysterious crop circle phenomenon, beginning with an episode from June 11th, 1997 in which Art spoke with Doug Ruby about his research into the puzzling formations. Based on his extensive investigation into these designs, he posited that hidden information in the formations can be discerned if one reproduces a crop circle as a miniature model resembling a flat disc and then subsequently spins it like a record.

Our second episode this week journeys back to 12/16/2001 and features a fascinating conversation that Art had with crop circle researcher Dr. Eltjo Haselhoff, who applied his extensive background in theoretical and experimental physics to the phenomenon. He detailed various on-site studies that he had done at different formations and shared observations about the physical condition of the crops after they'd been subjected to whatever process created the design.

These classic programs have commercials and breaks removed and are presented in multiple-platforms-- available on-demand for Mac, Windows, IOS, and Android. Many of them feature rare "5th" hours of content from back in the 90s when the show had a longer running time. We do include Art's beloved bumper music, which became such an indelible part of his program.

And for the true Art Bell fan, we offer different listening options to fine-tune your experience, such as guest only, and full show streams. Coast Insiders, we're very happy to bring this new offering to you at no additional charge to your subscription! We welcome your feedback.
