Art Bell Vault: Witches & Black Magic

We're excited to launch our newest feature for Coast Insiders: The Art Bell Vault. This ongoing curated collection features two vintage shows added to the collection each Wednesday. This week, we get into the Halloween spirit with a pair of shows devoted to witches and black magic. First, we journey back to June 2, 1997, when Art opened up the phone lines and asked for 'real witches' to call in to the program. The proverbial witch hunt wound up being somewhat historic as, among the many callers claiming to be practicioners of the 'dark arts,' Coast listeners were introduced to the unforgettable Dr. Evelyn Paglini, who wound up becoming a frequent C2C guest in subsequent years.

To that end, our second show added to the collection this week is a fascinating edition of the program from 3/14/2001 featuring a four-hour interview with Paglini in which she details her background as a witch and how her creed differs from Wiccans in that she is willing to use magic to retaliate against someone should the need arise. She also tells Art about witchcraft rituals and shares chilling insights about groups which practice blood sacrifices. Sadly, Paglini passed away in March of 2014.

These classic programs have commercials and breaks removed and are presented in multiple-platforms-- available on-demand for Mac, Windows, IOS, and Android. Many of them feature rare "5th" hours of content from back in the 90s when the show had a longer running time. We do include Art's beloved bumper music, which became such an indelible part of his program.

And for the true Art Bell fan, we offer different listening options to fine-tune your experience, such as guest only, and full show streams. Coast Insiders, we're very happy to bring this new offering to you at no additional charge to your subscription! We welcome your feedback.
