Check out this stunning timelapse footage created from still images of our planet taken by ESA astronaut Samantha Cristoforetti aboard the International Space Station. Cristoforetti is part of the six-strong Expedition 42 and 43 crew. The video shows the lights from cities as ISS flew over the Canary Islands and continental Europe.
