Black Holes Align with Each Other

Black holes are among the strangest objects in the universe and now a European research team has discovered something even more peculiar about them. Observations made by the Very Large Telescope in Chile reveal that black holes are aligned with each other. The scientists examined the rotation of supermassive black holes at the center of quasars and found they are parallel to each other over vast distances of billions of light-years. More at ESO.org.
