Bishop David Price (pictured with Connie Willis) passed away this week. David played an instrumental role in some of the most memorable conversations surrounding the paranormally renowned Waverly Hills Sanatorium. He served as President of the Waverly Hills Historical Society, the nonprofit organization dedicated to preserving and sharing the history of Waverly Hills Sanatorium.
He spearheaded and hosted many discussions about Waverly Hills, and when he could not attend in person, he often arranged for the owner to be there to share the story. Widely regarded as one of the most haunted locations in the world, Waverly Hills became a cornerstone topic for those interested in the paranormal in large part because of David's passion, knowledge, and commitment to bringing its history and investigations to light.
David will be remembered not only for the stories he shared but for the generosity of spirit and enthusiasm he brought to every conversation. His celebration of life will be held on Saturday, December 20, at Cornerstone Cottage in Louisville, Kentucky. More info.
