A pair of paranormal investigators had a frightening experience with what they believe may have been a demonic creature. Vic Harbord and Christine Townend were conducting an investigation at St Lawrence church in Atwick, England, when their spirit box picked up a growling sound. "When you hear a growl it's a negative energy. It's inhuman. It's obviously not very nice," Townend said. The two investigators uncovered local lore about a 'hobgoblin' that once tormented the region, and were so shaken by their eerie encounter they decided to get ordained.
