An astronomer has discovered a "Goldilocks zone" planet that is thought to be nearly the same size as Earth. Using data from the Kepler space telescope, Thomas Barclay at NASA Ames made the calculations about a planet that orbits an M1 dwarf star. Further details about his discovery are forthcoming.
