ESA Craft Lands on a Comet

For the first time, a spacecraft from our planet has landed on a comet moving through space. The European Space Agency's Philae lander from the Rosetta craft made the difficult 7-hour landing on the Comet 67P/Churyumov-Gerasimenko today-- Nov. 12th, 2014. More on the historic feat here.
