During a recent inspection job, an Australian pest control company captured footage of a Hunstman spider that is pure nightmare fuel.
Noel Parminter of Auswise Pest Control was brave enough to film the hair-raising scene as hundreds of baby spiders emerged from a cluster of eggs.
That moment, alone, is enough to give any observer a case of arachnophobia, but it's the video's proverbial punch line that really come as a shock.
Parminter points the camera up to reveal an enormous Huntstman spider lurking only a few feet away and ostensibly guarding its babies being born.
The nearly eight-inch long insect quickly scurries away, vanishing into the darkness to emerge sometime when you are reaching into your closet during a nightmare.
