Farthest Galaxy Spotted

Astronomers have spotted the farthest known galaxy in the universe. The object, observed using the Hubble and Spitzer telescopes, is some 13.3 billion light-years away from us. Scientists have calculated that the universe itself is 13.7 billion years old, so that would mean that this galaxy's light has been traveling toward Earth for almost the entire history of space and time.
