Firewalking Ritual in Spain

Every June 23rd, the small Spanish village of San Pedro Manrique marks the summer solstice by hosting a firewalking ritual. Locals step across a 23-ft.-long path of burning embers, without burning the soles of their feet, most times carrying someone on their back (pictured are participants from the just held 2015 event).
