A fox in England found itself caught in a rather grave predicament when it somehow wound up stuck between two tombstones.
Animal welfare workers were alerted to the animal's plight after someone spotted unfortunate creature at a graveyard in the town of Leamington Spa.
An inspector with the RSPCA who responded to the call was baffled by how the animal could have gotten into such a tight spot and speculated that it occurred at some point during the previous evening.
Fortunately, she was able to free the fox, presumably without disturbing the gravestones around it, and release it back into the wild.
While we'll never know how the animal ended up where it did, we're kind of hoping that, if the creature could talk, it would have an amazing ghost story to tell.
