Friday Night Feature: The Summer Planets

by Anthony McGettigan
The Summer Solstice has arrived. The Summer Solstice Sun is aligned withSaturn and nearly exactly opposite to the Galactic Center. The effect ofthe solstice-related events are already upon us and will hit a highpoint between June 21 to 24.
This will be an unusual and importantsolstice--however, this is only the first of 3 very significantcelestial events that will happen thissummer.First of all, the Summer Solstice Sun will closely align with Saturn. This alignment is rare because Saturn takes nearly 30 years to orbit theSun, and it is much less frequent that the Sun, Earth, and Saturn allalign with a solstice point. This event is all the more significant dueto an exact alignment with Uranus on June 24th. For more details, pleasevisit this page(1).

Also in August there will be a very close alignment of 6 planets withthe fixed star, Regulus (also known as Cor Lionis, or the Heart of theLion). Some have said this event marks a profound awakening for theheart of humanity. For more details, please click here(2).

Finally, on September 11th (2003), Saturn will align with the theasteroid, Ceres. When this alignment occurs, Saturn will be in the exactposition where Jupiter stood on the morning of 9/11/2001. For moredetails, please see thispage(3).Thanks for taking a look and sharing this message with others who areinterested.
