An unusually shiny and smooth rock has been photographed on the surface of Mars by the lander Curiosity. Looking like a chunk of gold, NASA is sending the lander back for a closer look and chemical analysis of the object they've dubbed "Little Colonsay." NASA team members believe the rock could be a meteorite because of its shiny and reflective quality. More at Gizmodo.
