Golden Ratio Found in Space-Time

Researchers in South Africa say the Golden Ratio, a mathematical constant of 1.618 which can be seen in spiral shapes throughout nature, may govern space-time itself. According to Dr. Jan Boeyens at the University of Pretoria and Dr. Francis Thackeray of the University of the Witwatersrand, the ratio can be used to link together physics, chemistry, biology and the topology of space-time. Some have suggested that this ratio ultimately allowed our own universe to form. More at Mail Online.
