Haunted Conjuring Farmhouse Set for Halloween Auction

A historic Rhode Island farmhouse that inspired The Conjuring is headed for a foreclosure auction on October 31. The current owner, medium Jacqueline Nuñez, bought the eight-acre property in 2022 and turned it into a paranormal tourism business with overnight stays and ghost hunts. Her time there became strained by lawsuits, accusations from former employees, clashes with town officials, and disputes with TV ghost hunters, which led to the loss of her entertainment license.

The home is notorious for chilling accounts dating back to the 1970s, when the Perron family claimed they saw apparitions and watched beds rise from the floor in the dead of night. Their experiences later inspired the hit horror franchise. Even today, visitors insist the house is still alive with strange activity, reporting whispers, unexplained shadows, and sudden drops in temperature. Paranormal believers, including Matt Rife and YouTuber Elton Castee, are already campaigning to buy the home and preserve its haunted legacy.
