Inert Nuclear Missile Prompts Police Response at Man's Garage

Authorities were notified when a man attempted to donate a nuclear missile to a military museum in Ohio. Upon investigation, the device was found in his garage and, thankfully, missing its warhead. The missile, an unguided air-to-air Douglas AIR-2 Genie, was acquired from a deceased neighbor who bought it at an estate sale. Despite media attention, since the missile was inert and the military did not request it back, it was left with the neighbor to be restored for museum display.
