An invisibility cloak could be just a couple of years away if physicist Ulf Leonhardt has his way. The St Andrews University professor thinks he can develop a special material capable of bending light around itself, effectively making whatever it surrounds invisible to the naked eye. Leonhardt's research is being funded by the Royal Society's Theo Murphy Blue Skies Award. More at BBC News.
