LRO Sees Apollo Sites

NASA's Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter (LRO) has captured images from five of the six Apollo sites, the space agency reported Friday. The photos show the Apollo missions' lunar module descent stages sitting on the moon's surface, with distinct shadows making the modules' locations evident. LRO should see the Apollo 12 site, the only one not yet photographed, in the coming weeks. More at NASA.
