'Mr. Christmas' Still Going Strong

A British man who became known as 'Mr. Christmas' for his bizarre habit of celebrating the holiday literally every day for 22 years revealed that his vow last December to quit the practice was an epic failure.

Andy Park gained infamy in the UK for spending an estimated $3 million dollars over the last two decades to feed his Christmas habit of daily turkey dinners and presents for himself.

His always-decorated home was featured numerous times by bewildered media outlets in Britain who delighted in telling his strange story of taking the festive season to the extreme.

However, Park made headlines last year when he announced that the marathon which began in July of 1993 would come to an end following the 2015 Christmas due to the financial and physical strains of the endless celebrating.

Alas, with the holiday right around the corner, it has been learned that Park couldn't quit Christmas cold turkey.

According to the heartbroken fan of the holiday, he wept on December 26th as he packed away the baubles and ornaments that had adorned his home for 22 years.

Sadness turned to rage as Park smashed some of the items as he struggled to come to grips with his new reality and that fury evolved into futility at how boring his life had become without his daily Christmas cheer.

Apparently the battle became too much for Park as, two weeks after Christmas, he succumbed to the spirit of the season once again and resumed his daily holiday celebrations.

While Park's failure to put a stop to the endless celebrating disappointed his daughter, it would appear that perhaps the brief respite proved helpful.

Over the past year, Mr. Christmas has begun exercising in order to keep off the weight from the daily holiday diet and has even found a girlfriend who doesn't seem to mind his strange obsession.

Who knows, perhaps Park can replace his jingle bells with wedding bells and there could be a Mrs. Christmas in the future.
