NASA Proposes Bold Venus Plan

Although Mars remains the prime target for future manned space exploration, NASA scientists have put forward an innovative idea which may allow humans to more easily venture to Venus instead. Dubbed the High Altitude Venus Operational Concept (HAVOC), the plan proposes sending a series of airships to hover about 30 miles above the Venusian surface, where conditions are more conducive to living, and create a veritable armada of craft which would allow for eventual human habitation.
