New Dwarf Planet Discovered

A new dwarf planet called 2012 VP113 has been found at our solar system's edge. The newly discovered body, about 280 miles in size, is even more distant than the dwarf planet Sedna (pictured, artist's conception), and resides in a region scientists call the "inner Oort Cloud." The new finding hints there could be multitudes of still unknown objects far beyond Pluto's orbit, yet sill in our solar system, and some might be even be as large as Earth.
