Photo: New Mars Rover Panorama

The stunningly detailed photo combines 817 images taken by the rover's panoramic camera as it sat stationary for four months. The images were stitched together to form a nearly full-circle scene of the spot near the 14-mile-wide Endeavor Crater. More at wired.com.
