Questions about the possibility of life on Mars reportedly took a new turn this week after a UFO hunter claimed he spotted a pink and green plant in a photo of the red planet's surface taken by NASA's Perseverance rover.
Scott C. Waring, author of books on the paranormal and creator of the UFO Sightings Daily blog, says he's certain that the speck of color he found among the rocks in the image is "one hundred percent proof" that there's life on Mars. Although he's made similar claims in the past— one involving an object resembling a white rose, and another about a supposed foot-tall alien —Waring says this time it's the real deal. "This one being two colors and close up is just mind-blowing," he marveled.
