A second sphinx may have been discovered in Egypt, dating back as far as 4,000 years ago. Uncovered by construction workers in the city of Luxor about six miles from the Valley of the Kings, the statue reportedly has a human head and a lion's body. The find has not yet been pulled out of the ground and authenticated, but tourists have been invited to visit the construction site. Further details here.
