A stroll along the shore of Lake Michigan over the holiday weekend turned into a head-scratching situation for a woman who suspects she may have spotted a shark!
Carlin Hastings captured footage of what appears to be a fin from the ferocious fish as well as something resembling a tail moving back and forth in the water.
An official with the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources, however, was skeptical that the creature was actually a shark and suggested that it may have been a big sturgeon or salmon instead.
While we're inclined to agree with that assessment, one can't help but wonder if the creature really was a shark and, if so, how did it wind up in Lake Michigan?
