This photograph (click on to view larger) is featured in Brad Steiger's latest book Real Ghosts(1). The electric chair was formerly used by the state of Tennessee, and this photo was originally sent to the Ghost to Ghost(2) website by Fred Leuchter(3), an engineer who, among other things, designs and fabricates execution equipment.
Leuchter said the photograph has been authenticated by Eastman Kodak as being genuine - meaning that the photo was not tampered with. Some say there are five different entities visible in this image.
