Tim Baker Photos 7/30/16

To accompany his appearance on the 7/30/16 program, Tim Baker has provided a few photos taken during his Bigfoot investigations.

PHOTO 1: Shows trees that were broken down (presumably by Bigfoot) over a hunting trail, effectively blocking it, after turkey hunters were chased out of the woods at that location by Bigfoot during a spring turkey hunt in northeastern Mississippi. I read about the incident in the local newspaper and then talked to the hunters involved. They were afraid to accompany me to the area, but I found it easily from their descriptions. The trail was well marked, but it had been blocked by trees being broken down across it, from both sides of the trail. I maneuvered around and past the blocked section of trail and found numerous limb formations, ambush sites, and other evidence that I was in the core “inner sanctum” of their home range. This was at the tail end of their breeding season and only a few months after their birthing season, so that area was being used as a nursery, probably two or three times a month: hence the strong reaction when the turkey hunters slipped into the area before daylight one morning. When I later asked the hunters about it, they were not aware that the trail had been blocked.

PHOTO 2: Taken a few days later, upon returning to the area, and shows a broken off hardwood tree that was one of three large trees broken down to block the road leading to the turkey hunters trail, shown in PHOTO 1. This is about 75 yards back up the only road into the area. My son (pictured) was right at 5-ft 11-in tall at the time, and it was 6 feet even, to the top of his cap. There were three other investigators with me when this photo was taken. When we left the area, about an hour later, all five of us, and also my dog, Bo, urinated on this tree to see if it would elicit a reaction from the Bigfoot.

PHOTO 3: What had happened to the tree we urinated on, shown in PHOTO 2, when I returned to the area a week later. The Bigfoot, presumably the Alpha of the troupe in that area, had taken great exception to us urinating on his roadblock tree, and had thrown a temper fit; literally tearing the broken off tree to shreds. We could see teeth and fingernail marks in the wood and bark of the tree. In all of my 38 years of investigating and researching Bigfoot, this is the most impressive display of their strength, and the most shocking display of their reactions to intrusion into their home area and especially their reaction to our desecration of, and disrespect to, their work.

I was by myself at that time, except for my dog, Bo, and he was alerting to the close presence of Bigfoot, so I didn’t get out of my truck. The woods were totally quiet and a heavy, ominous, and eerie feeling hung over the area, but I didn’t see or glimpse any Bigfoot. The next weekend after that, using a night vision scope, we spotted two of them, but they didn’t try to harass us, other than to growl at us.
