Denizens of a Ukrainian village were left scratching their heads after a veritable armada of glowing orbs appeared in the night sky.
Captured on video by one baffled witness from the community of Novogradovka, the strange scene featured six anomalous objects hovering in the air.
The voices of onlookers can be heard in the video chatting and nervously laughing about the weird sight unfolding before eyes.
Residents of Novogradovka who saw the odd objects observed that they seemed to suddenly appear in the sky out of nowhere and lingered for around 15 minutes.
While viewers on social media and, no doubt, the people on the ground at the time suggested that the cluster of orbs were some kind of alien craft, the Ukrainian government has dispelled that notion.
An official with the country's armed forces explained that the glowing objects were being used in some kind of marine training exercise, although the exact nature of the orbs was not revealed.
So, technically, the things seen over Novogradovka were really UFOs, although probably not of the ET variety unless the training mission was a simulation of an alien invasion.
