The latest discovery by Martian anomaly watchers may be a game changer as a researcher studying photos from the Curiosity Rover believes he has spotted a UFO in the sky above Mars.
While there's no shortage of strange and unusual objects that have been 'seen' in images of the Martian surface, the new photo may be the first time a Curiosity transmission has captured an image of a UFO.
Scott Waring, who first brought attention to the new image, said on his website, "I checked other photos from the same camera and it is not there, therefore its not on the lens."
As to what the UFO might be doing as it cruises through the Martian atmosphere, Waring suggested that "it is flying in a horizontal position and observing the rover from a distance."
With this latest discovery, those studying Curiosity images in the hopes of finding something anomalous may want to turn their eyes to the sky rather than looking for long forgotten fossils resting in the Martian soil.
