Video: 'Ghost Dog' EVP Captured?

March 21, 2016

A paranormal team investigating an allegedly haunted mansion in the UK may have picked up an incredibly rare EVP of a ghost dog!

The group known as Paradox Paranormal were performing a séance at a notoriously haunted estate in the delightfully named village of Pontblyddyn.

During the session, as the group turned to a spirit box designed by one of the investigators to attempt some kind of two-way communication with the 'other side.'

As he was explaining how the box works, they suddenly heard a dog's bark from the machine, stunning everyone in the room.

The group insists that there were no dogs on the property and the nearest place once could be was quite a distance away.

Wondering what to make of the possibility of an animal EVP and whether such a thing has been reported before in the realm of ghost investigation, C2C turned to veteran ghost researcher Tim Weisberg for some insight.

"I personally have never heard one or know anybody that has caught one. So I'd say they probably are very rare," he said.

He also made an observation about the possible nature of ghosts and why an animal EVP seems unlikely.

"We are more likely to capture human voice and sounds then we are animals. My belief would be that it's because the humans are actually trying to communicate with us, and trying to imprint their voices on our digital mediums. Whereas animals are probably just captured in passing," Weisberg told us.

He stressed, "It's important to note that animal sounds are constantly around us in the atmosphere, and we may capture them on a recording without even realizing that there was an animal making the noise at that time."

Whether the Pontblyddyn EVP was truly a ghost dog or merely a misidentification, we may never know, but perhaps it will inspire future ghost hunters to bring along some Snausages on their next investigation.
