Amateur astronomer Ethan Chappel captured the incredible moment something big slammed into Jupiter earlier this week. In the footage the impact appears as a bright flash in the planet's upper atmosphere just south of the equator. Other astronomers have yet to confirm the impact but according to Chappel it "looks awfully like an impact flash" from a meteor.
